The tube is not just packaging. First of all, this is protection of its filling. There is always a special barrier layer inside of the laminate tubes that has made of plastic or aluminum. It does not allow air and sunlight to pass through. The production technology of such packaging allows You to experiment with design due to the wide possibilities of printing and decoration. That is why these tubes are often used to draw the attention to goods as an independent packaging, even without a cardboard packaging. At first the print is applied to the laminate material (web), then the tube itself is produced by forming and welding a cylinder – that’s why there is always side seam on the tube – it’s a sign of welding. And only then the shoulder is formed and the cap is screwed on it.
